But what if we told you there was a whole new avocado movement sweeping the country Instagram.
BEHOLD! The avocado rose.
It's on omelets:
It's on noodles:
It's on pita pizza (with corn flowers?!):
It's on salads:
It's on pasta (?):
It's in an egg carton (??):
It's posing next to an actual rose:
It's, as you've noticed, very good friends with yellow yolks:
And yes, yes, yes, it's on toast. It's on toast a lot:
It's on our minds and in our dreams and not yet in our bowls—and it's making us as confused as it might be making you.
Rebecca Maier offered an explanation on her Instagram account: "Point is not if avo shaped as a flower would taste any better, or any different. Point is that it simply makes you smile, as it's indoubtedly [sic] nicer and funnier than an 'average' one."
