Lara Hamilton's post on The Cairo Kitchen made us curious about koshary, a vegetarian one-pot wonder. Naturally, we wanted to know more about the Egyptian street food that's traditionally made with lentils, rice, macaroni, shareya (vermicelli noodles), chickpeas, and tomato sauce and topped with fried onions.
