8 Quick Finger Foods to Serve on the Fourth

The Shop's new Walnut and Sycamore Boards by Arbor are exclusive to Food52—and too pretty to keep in a drawer, so so we collected some of our favorite summer finger foods to serve on them to keep them out all weekend.

Arbor's Round Walnut and Sycamore Board is the perfect vehicle for your serving finger foods.

When I spoke with Brian Christopher, the woodworker behind our new, exclusive wooden cutting boards, he had one ask: You have to use them. His boards, made from walnut and sycamore are almost too beautiful to use—but only almost. He said, "Some people buy them to hang them on their wall, and while that looks great, they're meant to be used. I use mine as a prep board for chopping and for serving appetizers—they're going to hold up.

This weekend, take Brian's advice and let your cutting boards do all the work: Prep your favorite easy finger foods on them, wipe them clean, and use them as serving platters for the food. Oh, and wave a flag or two. Here are 10 fingers foods that taste delicious and look even better when served on your favorite wooden board:
